Walnut

Origin:

USA and Chile.

The walnut is the fruit of the walnut and one of the best known nuts worldwide, standing out above all for its high concentrations of saturated and polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and minerals.
Since this type of tree adapts very well to different types of soils, and the climatic conditions it requires are temperate temperatures, it has numerous producing countries; being the most important and prominent, among others: China, United States, India, Chile, Spain, Eastern Europe, France, Italy and Argentina.

The consumption of the walnut improves vascular and coronary problems, helping to control cholesterol levels and correcting diabetes. Even with its high content of omega 3 fats, it can improve inflammatory diseases or reduce premenstrual and / or menopausal discomfort.
As for vitamins, walnuts are rich in B vitamins, especially folic acids, which are important for the proper functioning of the brain and the production of red blood cells.
